ABC has released promos for the upcoming episode of "Scandal", titled "The Fish Rots from the Head", and it shows an explosive scene between President Fitz and Olivia Pope. However, viewers will have to wait yet another week to catch the episode, as "Scandal" is on a short break.

"The Fish Rots from the Head" will be aired March 10, and feature the first real meeting between Olivia and Fitz after their split more than six months ago.

A previous episode of the political drama saw Olivia and Fitz going their separate ways after the political fixer felt her freedom was being curtailed. While Olivia seemed to have moved on, thanks to her on-again-off-again boyfriend Jake, Fitz has been dealing with the grief by engaging in a fling with journalist Lillian Forrester.

"Reckless, negligent, selfish. Is this really who you wanna be?" Olivia asks him in the promo.

Will their first meeting after the split result in they getting back together?

According to actor Tony Goldwyn, who plays President Fitz, it is a possibility because his character is deeply involved with Olivia. "He's in love with Olivia Pope. Literally, all she would have to do is walk in, and he's an addict. He's addicted to her," Goldwyn told HollywoodLife.com.

In a different interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor once again teased the possibility of a reunion, saying: "Second to the death of his son, that's the worst thing that could ever happen to Fitz — to find out Olivia was pregnant with his baby, had an abortion and did not tell him."

He went on to add: "That said, he got beyond the fact that her father was responsible for murdering his son. There's no logic to Fitz's love for Olivia, so I think he could get past it. I think he would have to because he's in love with her. It's going to be horrible if he finds out."
