Arrow season 5 will not be back with a new episode this Wednesday, December 14, at 8 pm EST on The CW. The supernatural drama series has gone a long break and will only return with episode 10 on January 25, 2017.
The mid-season premiere episode is titled Who Are You? and the first question Oliver Queen will be asking Laurel Lance is her real identity. He is confused about whether it's another manipulation by Prometheus or his own hallucination. Even the viewers are eager to know about it, but they will have to wait a little longer for the answer.
But Thea might know the answer since she is the only one left in Team Arrow to make her brother strong again. The Team got scattered and John Diggle got arrested in the winter finale of season 5. So she will have to finger out how to convince the mayor of Star City to suit up again not just for their friends but also for all the people depending on them for justice.
Meanwhile, the only person who could help Speedy in her mission is Felicity Smoak, but she is yet to recover from the shock of her lover Billy Malone's demise. According to the show creator Wendy Mericle, she will keep a distance from the team at least for the next few months.
"Her heart is broken in that last moment for Oliver and for Malone and for herself. Felicity has set her sights on Prometheus. She is going to meet some people who are both a bit tied to her past, but also very much tied to this new future she's contemplating. And that's going to draw her away from the team and lead her to do some things that are pretty morally questionable," TV Line quoted her as saying.
