Actor-turned-producer Nithin has released the first look of Nagarjuna's son Akhil Akkineni's debut movie. He says he has planned to unveil its teaser on 29 August.

The Akkineni family is one of the leading families of the Telugu film industry. Akhil is the family scion and his debut film has started creating ripples in the media even before its announcement. The makers of the movie had recently released some stills, which got good response.

Actor Nithin, who is producing Akhil's debut film, took to his Twitter page today (Thursday) to reveal his excitement over the first look.

"1st look poster of PRODUCTION A will b out in the evening..damn excited!!" He added, "1st look poster of PRODUCTION A with the films TITLE vl b out today at 4.30 pm and 1st lool TEASER on 29th at 10.30 am (sic)."

Akhil Akkineni is equally thrilled about the release of the first look of the movie. This morning, the budding actor tweeted, "Hi guys ! Big day today, the first look poster of my film will be out today..... Stay tuned. Very excited :)"

At 4.30 pm, Nithiin ‏once again tweeted that he will unveil two more posters, one of which will be released by Akhil on his Twitter page. He wrote, "Small prblm..v hv 2 1st look posters,unable to decide which 1 to release..so releasin both nw..akhil vl post 1 and i will post 1.."

Directed by ace filmmaker VV Vinayak, Akhil's debut film has been tentatively titled "Production A". Nithiin and Akhil Akkineni posted the two posters on their Twitter pages.

SS Rajamouli is impressed the with the first look of Akhil Akkineni and he wished success to the team. Besides posting a poster, the Baahubali director tweeted, "First look of "AKHIL" is arresting and intriguing...ATB vinaygaru, Nitin and the new kid on the block.. Akhil Akkineni".

Nithin is jointly producing Akhil's movie with his father Sudhakar Reddy under the banner Sresht Movies. "Dhamarukam" fame Veligonda Srinivas has written the script for the movie, which features newbie Sayesha Saigal in the female lead alongside Akkineni Akhil. Bollywood cinematography Amol Rathod is handling the camera work.

Anup Rubens and S Thaman have composed the film's music, which is expected to be released on 20 September, coinciding with the birth anniversary of the late legendry actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR).

The film will be released as a Dusserha treat on 21 October, 2015.
