Nissan India opened its 200th dealership in India at Andheri West in Mumbai.

Ritu Nissan, the latest in the dealership network of Nissan, is the company's fourth outlet in Mumbai and will be catering to customers of both Nissan and Datsun brands in the Mumbai area.

Nissan aims to set up 300 outlets in the country by March 2016. The company has so far opened 18 outlets in 2015, including showrooms in Trichy, Tirupati, Sikar and Nasik in the last two months.

"At Nissan India, we are proud to reach this significant milestone in such a short period of time. Establishing 200 outlets in a span of just five years not only makes our network one of the fastest growing in India, but puts us well on track to achieve our target of setting up 300 dealerships across the country by the end of fiscal year 2016," said Arun Malhotra, managing director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd.

Currently, Nissan offers four models in India - Micra, Sunny, Terrano and the Evalia, while its low-cost brand DatSun has the GO and GO+ in its portfolio.

"We at Ritu Nissan recognize changing customer trends and preferences. As an authorised dealer of Nissan since 2012, Ritu Nissan brings the know-how of a global automobile brand combined with the local aspects of sincere, responsive guidance and efficient, ethical service", said Manoj Lalwani, Ritu Nissan Group.
