Pan-India star Samantha Ruth Prabhu got married last month, and since then, she has been keeping a low profile and has been busy with family rituals.

On Sunday, Samantha was spotted for the first time since her wedding as she attended a store opening in Hyderabad. As soon as she stepped out of her car, hundreds of fans and media personnel swarmed her, and she struggled to move through the crowd. Her team member was seen pushing the crowd and trying to safeguard her while she made her way to the venue. She also tripped, slipped, and lost control a few times before she reached her car. Her team was seen pulling her hand and dragging her to help her reach the venue.

Several videos and clips show that private security and the crowd breached the human barricade. Men were seen trying to take selfies with her and pushing against her as she tried to walk.

The video went viral, and many called it a PR stunt, with Samantha being criticised brutally.

Amid the negativity, singer Chinmayi Sripada reacted to her best friend and actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu being mobbed at an event in Hyderabad. Chinmayi expressed frustration over the mismanagement and questioned the basic civic sense of people who gather at such events.

Sharing the video, she wrote, "The actress's team, including her team member Arya, is literally safeguarding her with his entire person. He must have left with several bruises at the very least. Controlling a mob of humans who don't know basic civil behaviour is not an actress' job."

Days before Samantha's incident, actor Nidhhi Agerwal was swarmed by a vulture-like crowd at the song launch of her upcoming film, The Raja Saab. A complaint has been registered against the organisers and Lulu Mall over this mobbing incident.
