A fresh batch of images of Maruti Suzuki's upcoming Dzire sedan has started doing the rounds on the internet, this time giving a glance at the new taillamps of the model.
Maruti Suzuki has been testing the new Dzire sedan on the Indian roads for quite some time now. The latest images of the new Dzire come from IndianAutosBlog, which was clicked while undergoing testing in Gurgaon, Haryana. Like the previous spy shots, the test mule of the Dzire is seen in its fully camouflaged form in the latest images too. However, it does reveal the new LED taillamps of the sedan and the headlamp cluster. The other immediate change apparent was the ORVMs with turn indicators. Maruti is expected to launch the new Dzire sedan in India next year, which will be followed by the new Suzuki Swift.
The other changes expected include new front fascia with new bold and LED tail lamp cluster. As for features, expect the new Dzire to get automatic climate control, keyless entry with push-button start, reverse camera and steering-mounted controls. Under the hood, the new Dzire is likely to get the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engines of the current model. Rumour has it that Maruti Suzuki could also bring 1.0-litre BoosterJet engine along with SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) technology to the Dzire.
The new Dzire will be pitted against Volkswagen Ameo, the facelift Honda Amaze and is soon expected to be joined by Tata Kite 5.
