American top PC-maker Dell has released a new generation Venue 7 and 8 Tablet series in India.
The new 2014 series Dell Venue 7 sports a direct-bond IPS HD screen and ships with Android 4.4 KitKat OS-powered by the 1.6GHz Intel Atom (Z3460) 'Merrifield' dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and a 4,550mAh battery.
Other stipulated features include 5MP camera, 1MP front snapper, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and it also comes in optional 3G model with voice-calling feature.
On the other hand, Dell Venue 8 (2014 edition) packs similar specifications seen inside the 7.0-inch model, sans a few features such as bigger screen with full HD resolution, faster 2.1GHz Intel Atom (Z3480) Merrifield dual-core CPU with Intel HD Graphics (Imagination PowerVR G6400) and a 2MP front-camera.
The company has listed Dell Venue 7 – Wi-Fi only model - ₹11,999 and 3G + Wi-Fi model - ₹14,999, whereas Venue 8 variants - Wi-Fi only and 3G + Wi-Fi models costs - ₹15,999 and ₹18,999 respectively. Prospective buyers can log in to Dell official e-store (HERE) to purchase the new tablet online.
As an introductory offer on Diwali holiday season, Dell is also giving free gifts worth ₹5,000 including - Bluetooth headset (₹2,000) and power bank (₹3,000). [Note: This limited offer expires on 26 October]
