Asus has already launched more than 12 variants of the flagship Zenfone 2 (& Selfie) and now, it is reportedly planning to roll-out another model later this month.
Russian technology blog Mobil TeleFon has reported that Asus is preparing the stage to launch new budget-friendly Zenfone 'Go' (model number: ZC500TG) in late July.
To cut costs, Asus has reportedly incorporated MediaTek quad-core SoC (System on Chip) with 2GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt memory. It is said to sport a 5.0-inch HD screen and come with 8mp camera on the rear side and 2mp snapper on the front.
Unlike other Zenfone 2 series, the new phone will support only 3G network; thus, indicating that this model might be released in emerging markets where 4G connectivity infrastructure is still in its nascent stage.
That being said, Asus is yet to officially respond to the rumours doing the rounds on the internet. Until the company clears the air about the rumours, this report will remain as pure speculation only.
