Amsterdam, July 24 (ANI): A day of national mourning took place in the Netherlands, as the first bodies of the crashed Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 victims arrived back in the country. As the remains were taken for identification at a military base, memorials and a moment of silence were held to remember those who were killed. When the first bodies arrived, thousands gathered to walk in silence. Through the center of Amsterdam, an entire country displayed its resilience. While the identification process began at a medical facility in the town of Hilversum, people of the Netherlands showed solidarity.
