Fans of "Luke Cage," who are eagerly waiting for the live adaptation of Marvel Comics' superhero on Netflix, will be delighted to know that Mike Colter, who portrays the character on-screen, will be using a lot of Cage's catchphrase, "Sweet Christmas."

As reported by Comic Book, while promoting the series at Wizard World in St. Lois, Colter said: "Yeah, I'm going to say Sweet Christmas a lot. Cage is going to do a lot of badass stuff. Prepare for badassery."

When asked whether the origins of Cage will be explored in the series or not, Colter answered that it will be showcased in a very interesting way as unlike most of the superheroes, Cage was not trying to become one.

"I think we will show it in a really cool way. Cage wasn't trying to be a super hero. The series is about him growing into that."

The synopsis of the series, as stated by Comic Book, reads:

"After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city - forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury."

Besides Colter, the series will also star Theo Rossi, Sonia Braga, Mahershala Ali, Simone Missick, and Alfre Woodard. Cheo Hodari Coker has developed the series and acts as the show-runner.
