Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor's mother, Neetu Kapoor, is back with yet another rom-com. The film also marks the debut of Ranbir's sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and this is the very first time the mother–daughter duo will be making an onscreen appearance together on the big screen in a movie titled Daadi Ki Shaadi. It also stars Kapil Sharma and Sadia Khateeb in the lead roles.
The promotion of the film is going on in full swing.
On Wednesday evening, Ranbir and Neetu were clicked together by the paparazzi in Mumbai. The mother–son duo danced to the song Senti from the film.
The video of the same has gone viral on social media, in which Neetu is cutely teaching dance steps to her son. She then showers love and also kisses him on the cheeks. She also hugs him.
While Ranbir kept it simple in a lime green shirt and blue denims, Neetu looked stylish in a blue polka dot shirt paired with blue denims and a brown blazer.
One of the fans commented, "They look like brother and sister and not mom and son."
Another commented, "So cute."
Another fan wrote, "Ranbir is so mumma's boy." Another comment read, "Such a beautiful bond."
Another commented, "This is so sweet."
The next one wrote, "She's ageing in reverse."
Many even dug up the past that the Kapoor clan didn't allow their daughters and daughters-in-law to work, and now, after her husband Rishi Kapoor's passing away, after years, Riddhima is making her debut at 45, and Neetu is back with a bang.

A netizen commented, "Superb mother-son. Good bonding. Rishi Kapoor to liquor addict tha, that time her life was hell."
As Daadi Ki Shaadi will mark Riddhima's acting debut, she recently opened up about what advice her brother Ranbir gave her. Riddhima said, "I spoke to Ranbir before starting. His biggest advice was to stay honest in front of the camera. He told me to trust my instincts and just live the character rather than perform it, and that really stayed with me."
The makers have announced that Daadi Ki Shaadi will release on May 8. It is produced by Rtake Studios, BeingU Studios, and Shimla Talkies Production, and is written and directed by Ashish R Mohan.
Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari's magnum opus Ramayana. The first part of the film is set to release on Diwali 2026.
