Mumbai, Dec 05 (ANI): Deviating from the ongoing tradition of cladding the Indian brides in gaudy costumes, designers this time on the finale of Mumbai Bridal Fashion week chose to keep it simple and subtle for country's contemporary women. Breaking away from traditional red colour, designer Nita Lulla draped her models in gold, black and even white, which is a colour for the widows in some parts of the country. Often choosing a lighter base colour for the traditional silhouettes of 'Lehenga', Nita added the necessary sheen with sequins, lace motifs and embroidery. Explaining the psyche of modern-day brides, Nita said she had to design in a way so as to satisfy the tastes of all brides.
