MyCareer Improvements Fans Want on NBA 2K16

With the NBA 2K15 doing well, fans are already speculating on what they would want to see in the famous NBA 2K feature MyCareer for NBA 2K15. Here are some suggestions from Reddit forum members (via Gameranx):

  • Ability to force your teammates to take a shot (by pressing the shoot button, for example)
  • More off-season activities. Would love to play in a Drew League game
  • Bit of a pipe-dream, but would love the ability to play a MyCAREER with a few other players in the same universe. Sort of like what Madden's CFM does
  • Different player customisation system for ratings. I get why they went with the system they did, and I enjoy unlocking attribute upgrades, but stop forcing me to upgrade items I don't want to upgrade because they fall in a pre-defined bucket
  • A way to check playoff brackets, recent trades and to be able to inspect the teams making you an offer in the off season
  • The lack of playoff bracket was annoying. Seems like such a simple thing to have
  • The option to be drafted or undrafted
  • And last but not least, better god damn teamates. I shouldn't have to average 45pts a game to just barely eke out a last minute win against the sixers while all my teamates average below 10 and won't shoot open j's or play like the all stars they're supposed to be

Meanwhile, Hassan Whiteside, the Miami Heat centre said after a game against Chicago Bulls that he wanted his rating to go up in NBA 2K15. He had recorded a 14-point, 13-rebound, 12-block triple-double.

And 2K made it a reality. It said in a Twitter post that, "He deserved it, he asked & he got it. Roster update live: @youngwhiteside has moved from 59->77 w/ eraser #NBA2K15."
