Navratri celebrations are all set to begin and India is ready to witness garba, dandiya and other traditional dance forms.

The nine-day festival commences from 13 October and will end on 22 October. It is celebrated to honour Goddess Durga and her nine forms.

The nine forms are said to symbolise creative energy and the feminine body. Each form of the goddess has its own day dedicated to it.

West Bengal and Gujarat are particularly known to celebrate the festival in a grand manner. Gujaratis have a colourful celebration and the highlight of their celebration is their dance forms.

Since the beginning, Bollywood has also showed Navratri celebrations in movies, whether it is Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Dhol Baaje" or Rajshri Productions' "Prem Leela".
