Nagaland, Feb 02 (ANI): Showcasing the cultural diversity of the country on a single platform! "Maati ke Rang", the five-day long cultural extravaganza that concluded recently in Dimapur city of Nagaland brought alive the vivid culture of India. More than 600 artists from all across the country performed during the event organized by the Ministry of Culture with an aim to bring together India's cultural diversity. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju and other dignitaries attended the inaugural day function. Thematic pavilions (Aangans) were put up by different states showcasing their art, craft and food. Visitors relished the delicious cuisines of various states at the stalls. Artists also showed live demonstration of their work and got a chance to sell it directly to the costumers. The large crowd at the event has convinced the government to hold the future events in the northeast.
