Gandhinagar, Oct 13 (ANI): BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday performed 'Shastra Puja' for his victory and success in the presence of police and security personnel in Gandhinagar. Modi said that the purpose of age old arms ceremony was to ensure safety and protection as well as see that weapons were not misused. The ritual is an age-old tradition, which is performed by offering prayers to goddess Durga.
