It was a star-studded trailer launch of Shahid Kapoor-starrer O Romeo. The entire star cast was present at Mumbai's Juhu location to unveil the trailer. The call time of the trailer launch was 12 noon; however, due to delays, actors arriving late, and media photo-ops, the trailer launch happened after 1:30 pm, much after Tripti and Shahid's grand poster launch and their romantic dance.
The other cast members, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, and Farida Jalal, had to wait while the poster launch and Shahid-Tripti's dance were going on.
After which, the on-screen stars of O Romeo, Tripti and Shahid, were also seen taking selfies with fans and celebs.
Delays for media and fans are nothing new. But veteran stars like Farida Jalal having to wait was surprising. Nana Patekar, who is known for his perfection, was visibly irked with the long wait and walked out of the trailer launch event of the Shahid Kapoor-starrer O Romeo in Mumbai.

As per reports, his co-stars Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri also arrived very late, and the actor reportedly lost patience and exited the event soon after his team arrived. The incident quickly became the talk of the town, prompting filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj to address the situation from the stage at the O Romeo trailer launch.
Speaking to the media during the live event, Vishal said, "Nana has left the event, yet I would like to speak about him. Nana is like the naughtiest child in a classroom. The kid who bullies people and also entertains the most. I have known Nana for 27 years, but this is the first time we have worked together. If he had been here, it would have been great. But because we made him wait for an hour, he stood up in his signature style and left the event. We didn't feel bad about it because we know this is what makes Nana, Nana Patekar."
However, netizens have come out in support of Nana Patekar.
Nana's fans are backing his decision to walk out.
One user commented, "I'm with him on this one. Punctuality means nothing here."

Another wrote, "Guys, bear in mind Nana Patekar rejected a movie with Rajamouli when any actor after the success of Baahubali and RRR would blindly sign a film without even reading the script. Nana is unfazed by popularity and stardom. Thank God he has self-respect and does not bow down to stardom."
Meanwhile, let's take a look at highlights and moments from the trailer launch.
In one of the clips, Farida Jalal greeted the media with "namaste" and "salaam." Shahid was seen helping her walk up the stairs to the stage. He gently held her hand and helped her along with other team members, while Tripti hugged her.
Many videos of Shahid and Tripti dancing before the poster launch and trailer launch have also gone viral.
About the trailer
After the teaser and song, the makers dropped the trailer on Wednesday. The over three-minute-long trailer gives an insight into Vishal Bhardwaj's take on a Western, but set in the streets of Mumbai. Needless to say, it's gory, with excessive bloodshed, cuss words, and screams.
Shahid is introduced as a dreaded gangster, while Triptii Dimri appears to play a damsel in distress who seeks his help. But he falls in love with her.
The trailer also features Avinash Tiwary, who looks like the antagonist. Disha Patani makes an appearance in a dance number, while Nana Patekar and Farida Jalal have major roles in the film, though not much is revealed about their characters.
The trailer is full of Shahid and Tripti's romantic scenes. However, netizens want to see more of the supporting cast, who are clearly playing pivotal roles in the film.
O Romeo marks Shahid Kapoor's reunion with filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj after more than a decade. The duo previously collaborated on critically acclaimed films Kaminey (2009) and Haider (2014). Reportedly inspired by true events, O Romeo is scheduled to hit theatres on February 13.
