Najeeb Ahmad missing: Delhi HC transfers JNU student disappearance case to CBI with immediate effect

The Delhi High Court has directed the CBI to take over the case of Najeeb Ahmad, a student of Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) who has been missing since October 15, 2016.

The Delhi High Court has directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to take over the case of Najeeb Ahmad, a student of Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) who has been missing since October 15, 2016.

The Delhi HC's division bench, comprising Justices GS Sistani and Rekha Palli, has transferred the case to the CBI with immediate effect.
