New Delhi, Oct 29 (ANI): Chief Ministers of Nagaland and Assam on Wednesday met Home Minister Rajnath Singh amid growing tension at the state borders. The meet comes at a time when a 1000-hour deadlock has been imposed in the Karbi Anglong district of Assam, which shares its border with Nagaland. It was called on Monday by the Joint Action Committee for Autonomous State (JACAS) against a delay in announcing dates for talks with the government for creation of a separate autonomous state within Assam under the Indian Constitution. Earlier this year, the Supreme Court had issued an interim order directing the Home Ministry to solve the border tension outside the court.
