Arjun Bijlani, Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan's supernatural show "Naagin," which has been ruling the TRP charts since it went on air, is nearing its end. While it was reported that the finite series will draw its curtains May 14, a SpotboyE report suggests that the supernatural show will air its last episode April 30.

While the viewers must be disappointed with the show drawing its curtains ahead of the scheduled date, the makers have stored an exciting twist for its viewers before the first season ends. Fans of Shivanya (Mouni) and Rithik (Arjun), who are eagerly waiting for the couple to reunite, will witness Shivanya giving up her Icchadhari Naagin avatar for the sake of her love Rithik. The show will end in a happy note with both Sivanya and Rithik reuniting in the final episode.

While "Naagin" will return with Season 2, there were speculations that the new season of the popular will not see the lead actors (Mouni, Adaa and Arjun) reprise their roles. There were rumours that "Naagin" producer Ekta Kapoor had decided to retain the lead actresses Mouni and Adaa for the second part.

Both Mouni and Adaa have gained immense popularity among the series' audience and the makers apparently don't want to risk the second season by replacing the actresses. However, it is yet to be decided if Arjun will be part of the second season.

"Naagin" will reportedly be replaced by "Mangalsutra," which will see popular actress Mona Singh in lead role. The show, produced by Ekta Kapoor, will revolve around Mona's character who would go to any extent to protect her husband.
