With "Naagin" nearing its end in June, Arjun Bijlani, who plays the role of Rithik, filmed his last scene recently. Although "Naagin" was supposed to be a finite series and reports were doing the rounds that the popular show would return with a new season, Arjun got emotional and took to his Twitter handle to thank his fans and the team for the love showered on him.

"Emotions running high, getting ready for the last day of shoot, thank you to all of you and team. #Naagin @ColorsTV @balajimotionpic," Arjun posted.

The actor, however, wishes that the makers come up with a second season of the supernatural show considering that it was widely watched by the masses and has topped the Television Rating Points (TRP) charts since its inception. "There should be a second season but I really don't know if it will happen or what's the take on that. The Colors team and Balaji will decide, but I know fans wanted it to go on," Press Trust of India (PTI) quoted Arjun as saying.

"This was a finite series and it got extended two times. I think people should also know that if it comes in seasons, the story might drag. I'm happy that 'Naagin' is ending on a high note," he added.

Meanwhile, Arjun will sport a warrior's look similar to that of Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh in "Bajirao Mastani" in an upcoming sequence of "Naagin." The sequence will see Arjun as the younger version of Sangram Singh, wherein he will fight with Mahishmatis and successfully defeat them as well.

Viewers will also witness a dramatic climax sequence between the good and the bad naagins, Shivanya (Mouni Roy) and Sesha (Adaa Khan), respectively. It has been reported that both the naagins will get involved in a huge fight for the possession of Naagmani.
