New Delhi, May 17 (ANI): Addressing the nation in his last day at office, Outgoing Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday said that his life and tenure as the prime minister has been an 'open book' and that he has done his best to serve the nation. He also said that the people of the country should respect the judgement that they have delivered, and said that the concluded elections have deepened the foundations of country's democratic polity. Singh also said that the citizens of India are responsible for the nation’s development and that there is still vast latent development potential in the country which should be realized collectively.
