Italian superbike manufacturer MV Agusta joined hands with Pune-based Kinetic group to sell its superbikes in India in August 2015. The joint venture launched the Brutale 1090 priced at 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom Pune), while the F3 800 motorcycle will be launched in early 2016.

The third motorcycle in the sleeve seems to be the Brutale 800 and the report in NDTV Auto claims the launch has been scheduled In July 2016. The company doesn't have plans to launch the current Brutale 800 in India. Instead, they will launch the new Brutale that has been showcased at the 2015 EICMA show in Milan in November.

The Brutale 800 is expected to be the most affordable motorcycle of MV Agusta India line-up with an estimated price at Rs 13 lakh. The motorcycle will be brought to India as CKD units and will be assembled Kinetic Group's plant in Pune.

The new Brutale 800 sports elliptical shaped headlamp, now a Full LED, and the three-pipe exhaust. The new chassis is in light alloy, which blends in with the trapezoidal tank with the capacity of 16.5-litres.

The motorcycle will be powered by an in-line 3-cylinder 798cc engine with counter-rotating crankshaft. The engine develops 116bhp and 83Nm of torque and mated to six speed transmission. The engine takes the motorcycle to the claimed top speed of 237kmph.

The Brutale 800 is equipped with Marzocchi USD telescopic hydraulic fork at front with 125mm travel and mono suspension with 124mm travel at the rear. 320mm twin-disc at front and 220mm single disc at rear takes care of braking along with the standard ABS system.
