Italian superbike manufacturer MV Agusta joined hands with Pune-based Kinetic group to sell its superbikes in India in August, and the launch of the brand in India was expected in November.

Prior to the launch, the Kinetic group unveiled the Brutale 1090 and F3 800 motorcycles to a bunch of bike enthusiasts in Pune. The MV Agusta Brutale 1090 has been priced at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom Pune). The price of F3 800 motorcycle will be announced at its India launch, which is expected in early 2016.

The Brutale 1090 is a naked sports bike powered by in-line four-cylinder 1078cc engine that develops 142bhp at 10,300rpm mated to six-speed constant mesh transmission. The motorcycle comes with traction control adjustable on eight levels and ABS on safety front. The frame of the motorcycle is built on modular-section tubular steel trellis and aluminum plates. The motorcycle is equipped with upside down (USD) front suspension and mono rear suspension with adjustable preload.

The F3 800, on other hand, is a fully faired sports bike drawing power from in-line three-cylinder, 798cc engine developing maximum power of 148bhp at 13,000rpm and 88Nm of torque at 10,600rpm. The motorcycle has 173kg dry weight and comes loaded with Brembo monobloc front brakes stopping Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tyres.

The deliveries of the Brutale 1090 will begin in the next two-three weeks.
