Bulandshahr/New Delhi, SEP 22 (ANI): The BJP on Sunday called for a shutdown in western Uttar Pradesh as a mark of protest against the arrest of MLAs and Samajwadi Party government's step to forbid party chief Rajnath Singh from visiting Muzaffarnagar earlier on Saturday. A bandh had been called from Saharanpur to Rampur districts of Western UP as a mark of protest against the arrest of party MLAs, Sandeep Som and Suresh Rana for their inflammatory speeches that allegedly incited the Muzaffarnagar communal riots.
