Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 5 (ANI): Muslims in Kerala attended morning prayers and greeted each other in mosques and open grounds on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha on Sunday, marking the end of annual Haj in holy land of Mecca. The festival, also known as the Feast of the Sacrifice, is a day to commemorate the Prophet Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail on God's command. Men, women and children attended the morning prayers that were held at the central stadium in Thiruvananthapuram city. A resident of the city, KC Abdul Gafoor said they are praying for the betterment of every human being and for the prosperity of India.
