Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's SUV and his escort car collided with an auto-rickshaw and a Mercedes in Juhu, Mumbai, on Monday night. The impact of the accident was so frightening that it injured at least two people. Akshay Kumar was not present in the car at the time of the accident. Akshay and his driver jumped from the car, which had overturned due to the collision, and helped rescue the bleeding victims who were trapped inside the car.
Several videos and photos show the auto-rickshaw being damaged and a passenger stuck inside it. However, bystanders helped the person come out of the auto. Another visual shows the auto-rickshaw driver bleeding, but still stepping out to help others. The police arrived at the spot immediately, and the car was removed from the road.
Those who were injured have been admitted to a hospital for treatment.
Auto Rickshaw Driver's Brother Demands Compensation From Akshay Kumar
Following the collision with actor Akshay Kumar's security car near his Juhu residence, the victim's (rickshaw driver's) brother, Mohammed Sameer, came forward claiming his brother had been severely injured. He requested that his brother receive proper medical attention and be compensated for the damage caused to the rickshaw.
In an interview with news agency ANI, Sameer said, "This incident happened around 8 to 8:30 pm. My brother was driving the rickshaw with a passenger in the backseat when actor Akshay Kumar's Innova and a Mercedes were behind them. When the Mercedes hit the Innova, the Innova crashed into the rickshaw. As a result, my brother and the passenger were trapped under it. The entire rickshaw was destroyed, and my brother is in a very serious condition."

Answering a question about what the police said, Sameer responded, "They asked us to leave the spot." Furthermore, he added, "My only request is that my brother receives proper treatment and that compensation is provided for the damage to the rickshaw. We don't want anything else."
"We took my brother to Criti Care, but we are poor people; we won't be able to afford it. My brother is in critical condition, and I want him to recover, that is all," he said.
Details of the horrifying accident
According to Mumbai Police, the accident happened around 8:30 pm near Mukteshwar Road. A speeding Mercedes allegedly hit an auto-rickshaw from behind. The rickshaw flipped over and collided with a car from Akshay's security entourage.
Reports claimed that the actor and his wife, Twinkle Khanna, were going to their residence from the Mumbai airport when suddenly the auto-rickshaw was hit by a speeding car, after which it collided with a vehicle of Kumar's convoy.
According to an Economic Times report, the Juhu police have registered a case of rash and negligent driving against the Mercedes driver, and further investigation is underway.
