Mumbai, June 06 (ANI): "Colours of Northeast", was the theme of Northeast Festival held in Mumbai to showcase the region's culture, fabric and tourism potential. Held under the aegis of Trend MMS, the event was attended by the city's top industrialists, Bollywood celebrities and socialites. The aim was to promote Northeast's potential and bring it close to the mainland. The evening was made lively by an enthralling performance by Guru Rewben Mashangva, the father of Naga folk blues, from Manipur. The Tetseo sisters from Nagaland also entertained the crowd with their folk songs. Soulmate, a music band from Shillong, also left the audiences mesmerized with their jazz and western numbers.
