Haldwani, Sep 16 (ANI): India is a land of multiple faiths, and people of the country enjoy this diversity with utmost zeal and enthusiasm. This week we take you to the Haldwani City in Uttrankhand where devotees belonging to different communities pay obeisance to sufi saint, Syed Hazrat Jalal Shah. A large number of devotees, including men, women and children throng the annual Urs of Baba to pay rich tributes to saint. During the celebration, people gather around the shrine of Baba and chant hymns to seek blessings. Various rituals, as per Sufi tradition, are also performed here. Also Qawallis, sung by qawallas, go parallel to prayers. The administration of the shrine organises community meal for the devotees.
