New Delhi, July 19 (ANI): Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has stirred another controversy with his remark saying that for a population of 21 crore in Uttar Pradesh, the state observes least number of rapes. BJP leader Nalin Kohli has said that such statements by senior leaders are condemnable. BJP___s UP Unit President Laxmikant Bajpai stated that Mulayam Singh___s party is itself a supporter of crime with all criminal leaders in the front. Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that although Singh is not wrong in defining the population he should not take crime so leniently. BSP leader Sudhindra Bhadoria said that SP should quit from government because it is not capable of controlling crime in the state. Meanwhile, NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that Mulayam Singh always makes such controversial statements.
