While the movie MS Dhoni: The Untold Story will showcase the life journey of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the trailer and promos of the film has been making the cricketer's father emotional.
Each time the trailer of the biopic is shown on Television, Dhoni's proud father gets extremely emotional, realising all the hard work that his son underwent, said a statement. The trailer apparently reminds him so much of his son's struggle to reach where he is today.
Sushant Singh Rajput, who portrays the character of Dhoni on screen, has been getting all-round accolades for his rendition of the player even before the film's release. The actor had worked a lot to resemble all the moves and playing tactics of the cricketer.
Based on the life of the most successful Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni, the film depicts the untold journey of a young boy from the bylanes of Ranchi as he made his way into the victorious corridors of Indian and world cricket.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story features Sushant Singh Rajput in the leading role as Dhoni and Kiara Advani as Sakshi Dhoni, in addition to Disha Patani and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles.
