Professional success has not come easily to anyone, not even to our favourite celebs. Not only did they have to work really hard, some even had to give up their studies to achieve their dreams.

From MS Dhoni to Sonam Kapoor, many celebrities dropped out of their degree courses to pursue their career instead. But, they went back to college after becoming famous.

Here are a few celebs who went back to college after shooting to fame:

MS Dhoni

Indian cricket team's captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni didn't complete graduation because he wanted to focus on his career in cricket. But, he enrolled himself in the Bachelor of Business Management and Secretarial Practice course at St. Xavier's College, Ranchi. Unfortunately, the captain couldn't attend classes due to his busy schedule and failed in getting his degree.

Sonam Kapoor

Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor, who could not complete her graduation in literature, hopes to get a degree this year.

During the L'Oreal Paris Femina World Awards 2015 in Mumbai, the "Khoobsurat" actress expressed her desire to complete her graduation.

"My biggest regret is I've not completed my studies. But I'm going to finish my graduation this year. I'm going to fill in the forms to get my undergraduate degree in literature. For me, it's one of those things that I regret the most," the actress said, according to IANS.

Preity Zinta

Preity Zinta is not only an actress, but also has business skills. The actress went back to studies and enrolled herself in the Harvard Business School for a degree in Negotiating and Deal Making.

Kunal Kapoor

Kunal Kapoor is on his way to fulfil his childhood dream, to become a professional pilot. The "Rang De Basanti" actor, who just got married, took a break from his acting career to pursue his real dream.
