The wedding season is here! And just like many commoners, celebs are also taking the plunge and starting a new chapter of their lives. Recently, Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben tied the knot, and there are reports that Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, Shikhar Dhawan and his girlfriend Sophie will also embark on their happily-ever-after journey.

Amid those rumours, it was reported that Mrunal Thakur will marry South superstar Dhanush on February 14, 2026. However, her team quickly shot down the reports, calling the wedding news false.

Amid her wedding rumours, on Saturday, Mrunal arrived with her co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi at producer Ramesh Taurani's birthday bash in Mumbai. Mrunal looked gorgeous in a white and black outfit, while Siddhant looked dapper in an all-black ensemble.

In viral videos, Mrunal and Siddhant were seen holding hands when they arrived for photo-ops, and they couldn't take their eyes off each other.

Mrunal will next be seen opposite Siddhant in the romantic drama Do Deewane Seher Mein. The posters of the film were recently unveiled and received positive responses. As per reports, the makers are planning to release the teaser on January 19, although an official confirmation is still awaited.

Recently, speculation escalated after online chatter claimed the two were set to get married in February 2026.

About Mrunal and Dhanush's wedding rumours

Mrunal and Dhanush have been rumoured to be dating since last year, though neither actor has ever confirmed or acknowledged the reports. A source close to Mrunal clarified that there is absolutely no truth to the wedding rumours. "Mrunal is not getting married next month. This is a rumour that has caught wind for no reason," the source told HTCity.

According to the source, Mrunal has back-to-back professional commitments lined up. "She has a release scheduled for February, and then another Telugu film coming out in March. It doesn't make sense for her to plan a wedding right in the middle of that," the source added, noting that her focus at the moment is entirely on work.
