In a recent press release, USA Network revealed the trailer of its Golden Globe and Peabody Award winning series "Mr. Robot" Season 2 at NBC Universal 2016 Upfront Presentation.

In the trailer, Christian Slater's character of "Mr. Robot" can be seen interacting with the series' protagonist, Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek) and saying, "Our revolution needs a new leader."

However, it seems that Elliot still has no memory of the past events as he still can't remember what happened on the night of the hack. Also, Tyrell Wellick is still missing and there are no hints of his whereabouts.

Later in the trailer, Mr. Robot asks Elliot: "Remember the night of the hack? Remember what happened to you?" To which Elliot replies, "All I remember is I woke up three days later."

In the second part of the trailer, the viewers get to see President Obama in a press conference where he is talking about the hack and its serious consequences.

"There hasn't been anything like this in the past. This is going to be affecting our economy in ways that are extraordinarily significant," the president said. He further says that FBI is working on a plan to attack on the fsociety and on Wellick.

Afterwards, the trailer shows glimpses from different scenes as Angela appears and says that she "will follow her dreams no matter what." Other scenes consist of dystopian scenarios and sinister-looking masks. The trailer hints that Elliot will be in some serious danger in the upcoming season.

"Mr. Robot" Season 2 will premiere on July 13 on USA Network. The story follows the adventures of Elliot Alderson, a young cyber-security engineer who comes across an underground hacker group named "fsociety." He is recruited in the group by its mysterious leader, who goes by the name of Mr. Robot.

The drama-thriller series is being written and executive produced by Sam Esmail ("Comet"), Steve Golin ("True Detective"), and Chad Hamilton ("Breakup at a wedding"). Universal Cable Productions produce the show.
