Motorola has officially released the back-cover for the budget phone Moto E in India via Flipkart.
Moto E covers are being made available almost a week after the launch the device. Though it is a bit late to arrive, Flipkart is offering discounts up to 50-percent to Moto E consumers who bought the device on the launch day, whereas the others will have to shell out full price (MRP) of ₹899. The offer is said to last only till 31 May, reported BGR India.
Color options include - Chaulk (white), Raspberry, Violet, Turquoise, Lemon Lime, Royal Blue, Spearmint, Cherry and Licorice.
Like the smartphone, Motorola Moto E shells are also selling like hot cakes; web-pages of the four variants- Royal Blue, Spearmint, Cherry and Licorice are showing 'sold out' sign at the time of the reporting.
In related news, Flipkart has stopped taking orders for the Moto E smartphones in India. The stocks of the phone reportedly ran out within hours (around 16 hours) on 14 May.
The company reportedly sold between 80,000 and 1 lakh units on the launch day, now, according to import data (courtesy, Zauba.com) available with the technology website, AndroidOS.in, Flipkart has received a new shipment from Motorola containing around 11,700 units.
It is said that the new units are meant to be delivered to consumers who pre-booked after the Moto E stocks went dry last weekend and company is expected to receive more shipments soon.
Interested consumers can type-in their email-ID at Moto E page on Flipkart to get real-time notification from the company when the phone will be back on sale again.
