Motorola will reportedly offer its upcoming flagship smartphone Moto X with multiple colours and personalised engravings on the back panel.
American media house ABC News citing a source reported that the Google-owned Motorola company will offer Moto X with an array of colour options, where it allows consumers to choose a colour of their choice for the back case and another for the trim.
The customization options will also let buyers to engrave a name or a message on the back panel. Buyers can also upload a personal photo to the company website to be used as the default wallpaper on their device.
ABC News also mentions that Moto X will have advanced voice-command capability and a smart app to launch the camera with just a flick. The most striking feature of Moto X is its ability to detect surrounding environments; if the phone is in a moving car, it automatically launches speaker phone option while on call mode.
The customised Moto X is expected to be delivered in a matter of days, once the buyer places an order on the Motorola website(for US consumers only). Network carriers will also be offering the smartphone with standard specifications.
According to various reports, Moto X is reported to be launched in the first week of August. It is rumoured to sport a 720p HD display and run on Android v4.2.2 powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
It is to be noted that Moto X is the first major phone to come out of Motorola since the company was purchased by Google in 2012. The device is also touted as the first American smartphone to be designed and manufactured on US soil. Moto X will be assembled at Motorola's 500,000 square-foot factory plant in Fort Worth, Texas.
