After tasting successful campaign of the budget friendly Moto G across the world, Motorola is reportedly working on the rugged variant of the phone.

Popular twitter spy, @evleaks has posted the image of the Motorola handset dubbed as Moto G Forte and says that the phone is bound to Latin American market soon.

As of now, there is no word on when the phone will get launched or will it remain to Latin America or not, but considering overwhelming response in the emerging markets, especially in the Indian market, Moto G Forte is most likely to set foot in the subcontinent.

It has to be noted that Moto G normal variant comes with water-repellent coating both inside and outside, enabling user to talk on the smartphone in rain, but it is advised not to take the device for a dip in the swimming pool; this aspect is expected to be taken care in Moto G Forte.

Though there is no word on the key features of Moto G Forte, it is certain to keep the predecessor's attributes in addition to special flaps, to close the ports, which enable the user to operate and take photos at least to 3.3 feet under water for 30 minutes,

Tier-1 smartphone makers, Sony and Samsung, do sell these rugged feature phones like Xperia Z, Z1, Z1 Compact, Z2, Galaxy S4 Active and others in the market, but they are more expensive. With the addition of water-proof features in the Moto G, the price of mid-range is certain go up.
