After launching the affordable Moto E 2nd Generation globally, Motorola is planning to launch two new flagship smartphones too.

Motorola may launch two new smartphones this year in its flagship Droid portfolio, Tectimes reports via a Reddit post. Codenamed as Clark and Kinzie, the smartphones will carry model numbers XT1578 and XT1585, respectively.

Both the smartphones will be released exclusively through Verizon this year.

The Moto Droid Clark is purported to feature a 5.25-inch display with 1440x2560 pixels resolution with pixel density rate of 560ppi. In comparison, Samsung's latest Galaxy S6 features a 5.1-inch display with identical resolution, but with a better PPI count of 577. With the featured resolution and PPI count Droid Clark would be the second best flagship for its display.

Apart from that, the Droid Clark is expected to pack a hexa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and will run on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.

The other smartphone Droid Kinzie will feature a relatively smaller 4.6-inch display with 1440x2560 pixel resolution at 640PPI pixel density count. The PPI count is such due to the smaller size of the display.

The Droid Kinzie will also come powered by a Qualcomm processor, but instead of a hexa-core, the smartphone will pack the latest Quad-Core Snapdragon 810 SoC and will run on similar Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.

Since both the smartphones are mentioned as "Verizon Only", they will be released first in the United States and later globally.
