Motorola upgraded the performance of the new Moto G (2015) by packing a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. Moto G second generation is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset clocking speeds at 1.2GHz.

Battery

Another key upgrade in Moto G (2015) is the battery. The new model packs a 2,470mAh battery, which promises to last a full day with mixed usage. The former Moto G model was powered by a 2,070mAh unit.

Moto G (2015) gives more reasons to upgrade as it additionally comes with enhanced IPX7 water resistance certification to prevent the handset from getting damaged by accidental drops in water. The handset is 4G LTE-supported and comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.

Price

Despite the upgrades, Motorola launched its all-new Moto G (2015) at Rs. 11,999 for the 8GB variant and Rs. 12,999 for the 16GB model. The new handset is exclusively sold via Flipkart and comes in white or black paints. The second-gen Moto G is no longer in stock on Flipkart, but it was launched at the same price as the current model at Rs. 11,999.
