It's been more than a month since SBS aired the finale of Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo and the network is yet to reveal any details about the renewal or the cancellation of the show. But the fans are still optimistic about its future and they are eagerly waiting for the next instalment.
The followers of the Korean mini-series are considering every tiny update by the cast members as hints for season 2. Recently, Seo Ju-hyun a.k.a Seohyun and Ji Soo posted photos with fellow actors Z.Hera, and Nam Joo-hyuk on their Instagram pages.
The images immediately captured the attention of their fans and they started speculating that the reason for them to still keep in touch with each other could be because they will start filming for the new instalment any time soon.
The fans even enquired about the second season with the celebrities. The messages ranged from "woohee & soondeok Scarlet Heart Ryeo season 2 pls," and "omg scarlet heart feels," to "I can't wait for moon lover season 2" and "When will you two do another project together???"
Meanwhile, actor Lee Joon-gi, who portrays Prince Wang So a.k.a King Gwangjong, opened up about his bonding with the character during an interview with a Chinese media outlet.
"The fourth prince has a stiff personality, but he is wholeheartedly devoted to a girl, which I think makes him a very cool and handsome character. It was a great satisfaction to have played such a character," Soompi quoted him as saying.
The young Korean heartthrob even stated that if he gets a chance to portray any other character in the drama, he will definitely try to portray the eighth prince Wang Wook. "The 8th Prince is a romantic. And although all the characters went through a lot of changes, many viewers liked the 8th Prince at the start," he said.
