Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo episode 16 preview: Will Hae Soo die leaving Wang So alone?

After airing a nerve-racking episode, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo will be back with another intense sequel next Monday, October 17, at 10 pm KST on SBS. Episode 16 will feature a blood thirsty Prince Wang So and a helpless court lady Hae Soo.

Since the countdown for the finale has already begun with episode 15, the period drama has changed its tone from a fairytale love story, to an action-filled battle for throne. The show introduced the new King of Goryeo Dynasty, Jeongjong, in its last episode.

Through the latest episode, the viewers learnt that the villain is out for blood and does not spare anyone coming on his way, including his mother Dowager Empress Yoo a.k.a Queen Sinmyeongsunseong.

The followers of the SBS drama have already adjusted to the major changes that have taken place in the Princes' lives after King Taejo's death. But the series of events in the upcoming episode might make them upset.

The official trailer of episode 16 does not just hint at troubled moments for the fourth prince and the court lady, but also introduces the fans to an aggressive Prince Wang Jung. In the video, the 14^th Prince is seen taking a sword and saying, "I will kill him."

The promo then takes viewers through a conversation between the evil queen and his son, wherein the King informs his mother that his step-brother wants the throne. Speculations are rife that Ji Soo's character will kill the evil queen and her son in order to save Hae Soo and Wang So.

There is also a buzz that the court lady will die towards the end of episode 16. However, since there are no further details available, the fans will have wait until October 17 for the end result.

Meanwhile, the sneak peek video also features a sequence between the newly-appointed king and the two protagonists of the show. In the clip, Hong Jong-hyun's character is seen torturing the female lead while confronting his brother for not killing Prince Wang Eun.
