The sly war between rumoured ex-couple Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut began when both stars decided to take indirect digs at each other on social networking platforms and at media interactions.

Displeased with Roshan's tweet, the "Rangoon" actress told NDTV people can have different sets of opinion but need to stick to their stand.

"No. I'm not hurt. I respect the other person's opinion also. It's very likely that a person can have a different perspective on the same situation on rather the past. But then, stick to your stand. Don't slyly pursue people and spy on them, chase them. So we sign and seal the deal and then move on," she further elaborated.

The story is getting murkier by the minute, and what started it all was Ranaut's response to her being ousted from Roshan's "Aashiqui 3". Her remark on "silly exes" doing stuff to get attention grabbed headlines, and also resulted in an indirect tweet from Roshan which read: "There are more chances of me having had an affair with d Pope than any of the (I'm sure wonderful) women the media has been naming. Thanks but no thanks (sic)."

While this has raised quite a few eyebrows, a few reports suggest it was Roshan's straight-out denial of the equation he once shared with Ranaut that ticked the leading lady off. A source told BollywoodLife the suave actor made her look like a stalker, which didn't go down too well with her. "Kangana has always been very honest and open about her life. She definitely won't hold back from spilling the beans and opening a can of worms if she has to," the insider said.
