Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who is currently busy shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro," tore his ligament on the sets. The handsome hunk had injured himself earlier in his last film "Bang Bang" as well.

The romantic period drama, set on the background of the ancient Indus Valley Civilisation, is said to be Gowariker's mega project with a massive budget.

Meanwhile, Hrithik might take a break to heal his injury.

He took to his Twitter handle on Saturday to inform about his injury. "Had a lovely fall 2day.Tore a ligament. Curious bout hw Im going 2 hv a fun time healing n working next few weeks. #imagination #makeitwork," Hrithik tweeted.

"Mohenjo Daro" is Hrithik's second project with Gowariker after "Jodha Akbar" and is slated to be released on 12 August. There have been reports that Hrithik will take home a whopping Rs 50 crore for this project, which is half the film's budget.

It was also reported that the superstar will fight a 20-foot-long crocodile for one of the scenes in the film. Unlike his tussle with tigers in the film, the combat with the gator in question will be shot using special effects.

According to a few other reports, Hrithik will drop his clothes in the introductory scenes. He is also in news due to a passionate love making sequence with actress Pooja Hegde.

last year, Hrithik had no new releases. But he treated his fans with a music video, "Dheere Dheere Se". The remake of the love anthem from 90s classic "Aashiqui" featured Hrithik and Sonam Kapoor which was recently in news to cross 100 million views on YouTube. Even in that music video Hrithik didn't dance much due to his back pain.
