Hrithik Roshan's Twitter account was apparently hacked. The actor took to Twitter to inform his followers that some accounts had been automatically unfollowed by his handle.

Hrithik is one such Bollywood actor who is quite active on the micro-blogging site. The "Mohenjo Daro" actor appeared to be confused about the apparent malfunction in his Twitter account as he tweeted, "Hey. My handle has automatically unfollowed some random accounts! does this happen?#twitterghost #hack? What's up Twitter? [sic]."

Earlier, Hrithik had filed a complaint with the cyber police, alleging that an imposter has been using a fake e-mail ID by his name. The issue had come to light after Kangana Ranaut had said that she used to communicate with the actor through e-mails.

It was rumoured that Hrithik and Kangana were in a relationship and the duo used to exchange private messages through e-mail. However, Hrithik had maintained that he had never communicated with Kangana over e-mail and the concerned address did not belong to him.

On the other side, Kangana had alleged that Hrithik had hacked into her mail account to delete the conversations that could affect his divorce proceedings with then-wife Sussanne Khan.

The trailer of Hrithik's upcoming movie "Mohenjo Daro" was released recently and it had received mixed response. While fans and certain celebrities applauded the trailer, a section of people on Twitter slammed it for its alleged misrepresentation of the medieval era.

Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, "Mohenjo Daro" also features Pooja Hegde and Kabir Bedi. The film is slated to be released on Aug. 12.
