Mohanlal's upcoming movie "Puli Murugan" is getting bigger day by day. The makers of the movie are making sure that everything goes right for the movie. The latest we hear is that director Vyshakh has roped in South India's best stunt choreographer Peter Hein for the movie.
Peter Hein is known for choreographing some of the biggest stunt sequences for movies such as "Kaakha Kaakha', "Anniyan", "Sivaji: The Boss", "Gajini", "Raavan"/"Raavanan", "Ko", "Badrinath", "Race 2", "Kachadaiyaan", "Baahubali" and "Dochay".
This is Peter's third movie in Malayalam as stunt choreographer after Mammootty's "Aparichathan" and "D-17" starring Atul Kulkarni.
Meanwhile, there are lot of speculations regarding the rest of the cast and the story of "Puli Murugan", even as the makers of the film have confirmed that the flick is going to be an iconic one in Mohanlal's career, with some high-end fighting sequences.
Mohanlal is famous for doing anything to fit into a role; reports suggest the actor has already managed to reduce six kg to fit into his character.
"Puli Murugan" is touted to be a suspense flick and the shooting of the movie will start in June.
It will see Tamil actor Prabhu and Mohanlal sharing screen space after the 1996 classic movie "Kalapani" directed by Priyadarshan.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal is currently shooting for Ranjith's movie "Loham" along with Andrea Jeremiah. His recent release "Ennum Eppozhum", directed by Sathyan Anthikkad, is running successfully in theatres. The actor is also awaiting the release of "Lailaa O Lailaa" directed by Joshiy, which also stars Amala Paul.
The script of "Puli Murugan" has been written by Udaya Krishna of Udaya Krishna-Sibi K Thomas fame. This team is known in the industry for churning out mass films with comic elements.
Vysakh made his directorial debut with the hit movie "Pokkiri Raja", which had Mammootty and Prithviraj in lead roles. He later went on to do fairly-successful films such as "Seniors", "Mallu Singh", "Sound Thoma" and "Visudhan". However, his last movie "Cousins" starring Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith, Suraj Venjarammodu and Joju George bombed at the box office.
"Puli Murugan" will be bankrolled by Tomichan Mulakupaadam, under the banner of Mulakupaadam Films.
