It is a happy news for all Mohanlal fans. The latest update from the "Peruchazhi" team suggests that the film's dubbing is over and the trailer will release on 1 August at 5 pm. "Peruchazhi," directed by Arun Vaidyanathan, has Mohanlal and Mukesh in the lead and is expected to hit theatres as an Onam release.
"The film's trailer and music will be launched in August and you can expect 'Peruchazhi' to hit theatres on 29 August," said producer Sandra Thomas to International Business Times, India Edition.
"Peruchazhi" is one of the highly expected films of the year and will see the comeback of Mohanlal-Mukesh team. Earlier, they have done hit films like "Thalavattam", "Vandanam", "Kakkakuyil", "Udayananu Thaaram", "Rock and Roll" and "Arabeem Ottakom, P.Madhavan Nayarum in Oru Marubhoomikkadha".
"Peruchazhi" is a satirical comedy film based in the US and revolves around the life of two friends - Vishwanathan played by Mohanlal and Minister Raghavan played by Mukhesh. Though they are good friends, they are political rivals at the same time.
The film goes through various incidents where both of them try to pull each other down. Vishwanathan is also known as "peruchazhi" as he is a very clever aspiring politician. The film takes a turn when Vishwanathan is sent to the US though he is illiterate in English.
The team had released two teasers of the film, which introduced Mohanlal's look in the film. Both the teasers became popular instantly and were well received.

Shot in the Universal Studios in Los Angeles, USA, "Peruchazhi" might be a fresh experience for the audience in terms of its visuals.
"I can promise a visual treat. "Peruchazhi" will not disappoint you in terms of its visuals. Frames are going to be entirely different from what we usually see and it is going to be a new experience for the Malayali audience. Colour tone and feel of the film is going to be a special one. Our locations in the US have given us the desired result," added Sandra.
"Peruchazhi" has a huge star cast of Baburaj, Vijay Babu, Aju Varghese, Delhi Ganesh, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Sean James Sutton, Ragini Nandhawani, Andrea Jeremiah, Sandra and Poonam Bajwa in the lead roles.
This big-budget film is produced by Vijay Babu and Sandra under the banner of Friday Film House. It has earlier produced films like "Philips and the Monkey Pen", "Zachariahyude Garbhinikal" and "Friday." The producers will soon remake "Peruchazhi" into Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
