Actor Mohanlal is now all set for his next film "Puli Murugan" directed by Vyshakh. This upcoming movie is touted as a mass film from Mohanlal and said to be along the lines of Mohanlal's previous film 'Naran", "Aaram Thampuran", "Narsimham" and "Twenty - Twenty".
As per the reports, the shooting of this upcoming movie will kick-start soon after the release of Vyshakh's "Cousins" starring Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith, Suraj Venjarammodu and Joju.
Meanhwile, Mohanlal is taking a break from the movies and is currently on a vacation to Antarctica. The actor began his journey from India along with his family on 14 November and will return back to his busy acting schedule after 20 days.
Before setting off for the trip, Mohanlal was busy wrapping up the schedule of his film with Manju Warrier, which is directed by Sathyan Anthikkad. This highly expected movie is scheduled to hit theatres for the new year. The actor is also awaiting the release of his film "Lailaa O Lailaa" directed by Joshiy.
Earlier, it was rumoured that Mohanlal will be doing his next with Madhupal but latest reports from the industry suggest that the script of this movie is not yet ready and the actor will now go ahead with Vyshakh's project.
The script of the upcoming Vyshakh movie is written by the duo of Udaya Krishna and Sibi K Thomas. This team is known in the industry for coming out with mass films with comic elements and this will be Mohanlal's third film with the team. He had previously worked with them for films like "Twenty- Twenty" and "Christian Brother".
Vysakh had made his directorial debut with hit movie "Pokkiri Raja" which starred Mammootty and Prithviraj in lead roles. He later went on to do fairly successful films like "Seniors", "Mallu Singh", "Sound Thoma" and "Visudhan".
The upcoming Mohanlal entertainer is produced by Tomichan Mulakupaadam, under the banner of Mulakupaadam Films.
