Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's latest film "Loham" has been released on Thursday, 20 August.
Even though the film's trailer disappointed many Mohanlal fans, the film is said to have opened to mixed reviews, as indicated by responses and updates on social media.

The action-thriller, produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, has been released in more than 250 theatres with 141 screens in Kerala alone.
The Ranjith directorial tells the story of a taxi driver, Raju, (Mohanlal) and Jayanti (Andrea Jeremiah), who hires his taxi.

The film also has Siddhique, Renji Panicker, Mythili, Ajmal Ameer, Harish Peradi, VK Prakash, Tini Tom, Thesni Khan, Joju George, Gauri Nanda and Ashvin A Mathew. Apart from them, Aju Varghese, Pearly Maaney, Srinda Arhaan, and Mani Kuttan also appear in cameo roles.

'Loham' falls somewhere between a class and a mass film. Either way at the end of the day, both the 'fans' doesnt have much to nag about but from a film lover's point, I strongly feel the pre-hype of the film is the villain. Having said that, the film is rich in content, performance and technically. Honestly, some scenes looked odd and some dialogues were dramatic. But when you see Mohanlal, you conveniently chuck those. Siddique is surely a class apart, a legend! The car chasing and stunts looked sharp with the ever best background scorer Rajamani doing a stellar work. For people who want to see Loham, kindly dont expect a mass film as the director warned. Just keep it low and who knows, you might like it more than a fan!
