Superstar Mohanlal's blockbuster "Narasimham," which hit Dubai theatres on Friday, 5 December to celebrate its 15th anniversary, got an overwhelming response from the audience.

The special screening of the Malayalam film was attended by Mohanlal, director Shaji Kailas and many other celebs. The director also shared pictures of the grand event on his Facebook page.

The Mohanlal-Aishwarya starrer had broken many box office records when it was first released in 2000.

Made with a modest budget of about  ₹2 crore, it grossed over ₹22 crore in box office collections, running for over 200 days in theatres to became one of the biggest blockbusters in Malayalam cinema.

The cast of the mass entertainer includes Mammootty, Thilakan (guest appearance), NF Varghese, Jagathi Sreekumar, Aishwarya, Bharathi, Spadikam George, Kanaka, Kalabhavan Mani, TP Madhavan, Maniyanpilla Raju, Narendra Prasad, Sai Kumar, Narayanan Nair, VK Sreeraman, Augustine and Bheeman Raghu in pivotal roles.

Mohanlal's famous dialogue "Ne Po Mone Dinesha" is still remembered and his character "Induchoodan" in the film is hailed as one of his best performances.
