Amritsar, May 26 (ANI): Cross Border traders in Punjab hailed PM-designate Narendra Modi's olive branch to the nuclear-armed rival Pakistan in a bid to root out his anti-Muslim image ahead of his swearing- in ceremony scheduled on Monday. The traders of Pakistan and India have welcomed the gesture hoping for fruitful ties between the nations which could lead to a boost in bilateral trade. Modi had invited Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to attend his swearing-in ceremony which the Pakistani counterpart has accepted. A truck driver from Pakistan, Irshad, hailed Modi's gesture saying that the friendship would ensure better trade relations between both the nations. Another truck driver, Ibrar, also heaped praises on Modi saying that he would bring prosperity to both the nations.
